So i migrated one of my users to a new i5 based imac using migration assistant, everything is fine and dandy, but entourage is all messed up, it now says it is home&student edition and exchange accounts are not supported with that version. All our email/contacts/calendars are on kerio mailserver which emulates exchange, it is not the newest patched version either. Is there a quick fix? i tried googling, but google fails to spit out anything remotely informative.

Thanks for any help!

G'day and welcome to the forums.

MS Office is one application which can play up in migrating. Got the original install disc and activation code? Use an uninstaller and do a fresh install. Other applications which cause troubles can be Adobe etc.

Thanks for the reply, I'm downloading a new iso from MS volume licensing site right now (hope it will work, rumors have it it requires rosetta). I know there can be issues, with MS/Adobe, surprisingly all adobe apps transferred fine and work without a hitch, go figure.

PS: Thanks for the welcome.

Which version - '04 won't work - '08 will although there are no shortage of users who have seen glitches.

It's '08. All burned and ready, waiting for user to finish up some work. Will advise how that goes.
