I have two wireless networks, at home and office. Both use the same SSID and password. My ipod touch running ios 3.1.3 automatically connects to both networks without asking for password entry.

My iphone 4S running ios 5.0.1 requires me to select the network and enter the password each time I want to switch between the two.

Is this a feature of the ios 5.0.1-- is there any way to get around this so that my iphone will automatically connect when I am in range of either network?

Thanks

No, it's not a feature. I connect to multiple wifi networks and don't encounter those issues.

I'd suggest joining the networks. Deliberately 'forget/delete them'. Restart the iPhone and connect again.
