Elgato eyeTV: view through my Apple TV?

Is there any way, jailbreak or not, to be able to watch live/recorded TV from the Elgato eyeTV on my mac through my Apple TV to create a seamless experience without have to switch inputs, remotes, etc?

I'd like to be able to watch live TV and not have to convert the recordings into iTunes if possible. Hopefully Apple will open up Apple TV to apps and Elgato will come out with one in no time.

As far as I can tell, there is no 3rd party software yet for the Mac that supports using Airplay to send video/audio to the AppleTV, nor is there a hack that I can find. If you have an iOS device that supports AirPlay, then Elgato does have an iOS app that can do the job.
