Hello, I have a question regarding PS3 to Mac video capture for anyone who can answer it. I know this question has been asked many times here and there, but I wanted to ask it for my specific case. So, what I want to do is capture HD (yes I know PS3 is 720p) gameplay and audio from my PS3 and save/edit it on my MacBook. Many people say the Hauppauge HD PVR is the way to go, however, I am wondering if there is something just as good that does not require additional paid software for Mac (EyeTV, etc.) I would like to add that I use an optical digital cable on my PS3.

Thanks,

So get the EyeTV HD that has EyeTV packaged with it.
