iPad Numbers files to MBA via iCloud

I am using Numbers on my iPad & iPhone (IOS 5). I use iCloud to share files between the two. How do I open one of the Number files in iCloud on my MacBook Air (Lion) using Excel or Numbers?

Go here, download it, edit it and re-upload it to sync it back to your iOS devices.

Thank you for the information. I wish a means existed to "map" to iCloud/iWork rather than having to manually download/upload. It might be easier to just use Dropbox.
