I see some ebay repair shops claiming to be able to fix corroded logic boards (from water damage or whatever), but the apple genius bar told me that if a logic board is corroding, it cannot be fixed and i must pay the $750 to have it replaced. Has anyone heard of repair shops being able to fix corroding logic boards?

I would not want to pay the labor required to clean a board of corrosion. Now, if you want to try and clean it yourself...
