I've searched the web for info but can't find any. I downloaded Batman Lego for my 5 year old but the keyboard control options are poor.

I have downloaded Darwin Remote which allows basic mouse functions on the iMac using a Wii controller however even using the preferences within Darwin Remote I can't get the wii controller to do anything in Batman Lego other than stop the game.

I take it for a variety of reasons the wii controller will not work within the game.

Right, because evidently the developer didn't design the game to work with a joystick. If you can find a program that can redirect the Wii controller to trigger keystrokes, that would likely work - but I think the better answer would be to contact the developer and ask about controller options.
