Okay, I have about $750 to spend, and I really want a Macbook, I already have a windows laptop, and I want to try out OSX. I've been trying to find a used 2010 Macbook Pro, but I can't seem to find one for the price. So that leaves me with the Macbook Air, and the white Macbook. What should I get? Or should I wait and try to find a good deal on a Macbook Pro? All help is appreciated.

Thanks for looking

I'm positive you can find a MacBook Pro for $750 or less. You just need to compromise on the age of the MacBook (possibly a 2009 or 2008 model)...instead of a 2010 MacBook Pro....and the size of the display.

For example a 13" MacBook Pro is going to be less expensive than a 15" MacBook Pro (same model year).

Would a 2009 Macbook Pro be better than a 2010 White Macbook?

Possibly...it would totally depend on the specs of the two computers.

But if one costs less than $750...and the other one costs more than $750...then the one you can actually afford to purchase is always better than the one you cannot afford to purchase!;)

Well I found a 2009 Macbook Pro for $700, and a 2010 Macbook Pro for $800, is the 2010 version worth the $100?

My "knee-jerk" reaction would be to say yes...but to be sure...would need complete specs on both.

But for starters...considering that a MacBook Pro can come with a 13", 15", or 17" display...this would be a VERY important place to start!;)
