Apple Logo

Ok I know this is unlikely but apparently some poelpe on the net have made there apple logo on the back of their iBook glow different colours, it this possible without changing the l.e.d inside the ibook?

If I remember correctly, they are placing some type of colored film between the logo and the light source.

...or you can just do what I did: take one of the old Apple stickers and trim it so it fits over the spot where the logo shows now.

where did u get the sticker from??

My gf had a bunch around because she worked at a store that sold Apple equipment.

There are lots of places that sell the old stickers. I would suggest checking ebay first.

ok i will have a luk now, what are the meaasuremetns of the logo on the front of an ibook do u no?

1.5" wide by 1.75" high, including the little leaf.

This is roughly the same size as the smaller Apple logo sticker that comes on the usual sheet of four.

this could be easily done with some arty initiative
- all you need is some scissors and different coloured
semi transparent paper, cut a template and thats it.

you could have different colours to suit your mood or
days of the week!

yea like the idea but id like to be able to change it all the time if i had all those options

also is that the same size logo as on the PB's?

i once saw a website that had different patterens and colors for it.

It can be done on your printer too. I did mine that way. Came out pretty good. I just removed the piece of paper thet was where the logo would go which makes the light shine thru brighter.
