garageband will only except input from your midi key board it will not transmet back to your korg.

what software and hardware (I have turtlebeach usb/midi) do I need to control my midi keyboard with my macbook?
I have recorded audio with Garageband before but the macbook cannot produce the sounds that the keyboard can. Much is lost in the recording. (I'm no sound engineer) So I want to play the keyboard with recorded midi.
