Hi,

I'd like a recommendation to convert a .flv file to .avi and then burn the .avi file to play on a regular dvd player. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to MacForums.

I would of recommended HandBrake but they have stopped support for .avi files so ill say Roxio Toast. Has a price but works well

I've always found this to be a fairly handy and simple little app when I want to convert video types. It's free as well. :) Flv Crunch 1.4.1
