I am selling my Macbook and want to give it a clean look before sending it off to the buyer. Any tips?

I saw a youtube video that claims the "tide 2 go pen" works a charm.

Mostly I am just looking to clean the keys from dirty finger I guess.. but also it seems there are 1 or two coffee drop on the body near the track pad

The Tide pen is a good way to clean the keys on the keyboard. Whatever you do, do not use any liquids, even a tiny bit. We've had some folks report that when cleaning the keys with Q-Tips dipped in alcohol that some of it dripped down and caused damage.

I just dip Q-tips in water and squeeze all the water out before I start cleaning.. they can get the hard to reach places and it cleans nicely enough for my macbook.

I know this won't help the OP but people looking in this thread might find this little App handy.
Its called KeyBoardCleanTool that once open will stop ALL keys in there tracks. It just blocks your keyboard input so you can wipe over your keyboard in order to clean it.

Cheers

I use the above mentioned software, and a baby wipe (wrung out if it's particularly wet).

For the screen a microfiber cloth works great. And if you use a dry Q tip you can get to hard to reach places like where your disk drive is and get any hidden dirt.

A microfiber cloth with one corner dampened with distilled water then use the rest of the dry cloth to wipe clean. The distilled water is optional but it does leave it streak free.

I use light spray of Windex and a paper towel and a micro fiber cloth on the display. That MacBook keyboard is well sealed.
