wondering if anyone can help me with my admin password. i just got this computer w separation and wanted to change the admin password because i am now living with roommates and didn't want anyone getting into it. i took an ambien and got crafty with the password AND the hint. no idea what it was supposed to mean. do i have to take it to apple store i don't have the original disc and don't want to have to reformat (what i prev read) my husband used to take care of all this stuff and i have NO idea what I'm doing. PLEASE HELP. if i get logged out I'm totally screwed.

You need the original install recovery DVD in order to change the admin password. You could also buy a retail version DVD and use it to change the password. If you have no one to help you (room mates), take it to the Apple store and ask them to assist you in changing the password.
