I don't remember if iPhoto has that feature (it probably does) but in Aperture you can select what photo info to display in the side panel, or pull it up when viewing full screen.
What photo APP are you using?

EDIT: in iPhoto. Select a photo, and from the menu, choose photos and show extended photo info

iPhoto 9.2.2:

select your photo either in its event folder (so it has a yellow border around it) or full screen, on the top bar navigate to view and then info - this will show all the shooting date (ISO, aperture, shutter speed, focal length, camera used, etc) you need.

Photoshop Elements:

select your photo, right click and ask to show properties - same info will be displayed in a pop up window

i am using iphoto.. thanks for all your help this worked. i am using the auto feature on the camera alot. as well as using some that just alow me to change the ISO for instance. when i put the pictures in iphoto i just want to see all the settings for a particular pictures so i can see and posibly change for future photos in the same setting. having fun with the good ole t2i so far. i am wishing the lenses were not so expensive. i about blew a gasket when i saw one lens could cost double the amount i paid for the camera. i also need a decent tripod for this guy. what do you recommend? one with a remote would be nice.
