How to speed broadband with Apple 27" computer

Could anyone be good enough to highlight how to increase broadband speed, and any housekeeping tasks to keep my Apple functioning at its best. I have a MAC OSX Version 10.7.2 if that helps. Thanks:)

I can't speak for everyone on here, but I have no idea what you're talking about with the first part of your post. Your broadband speed is controlled by your ISP, not you. Go to the testing sites and see if you are getting what you paid for. If not, contact them.

To your second question, a search would have quickly given you the information you're looking for. The summary: you don't need to do very much beyond backing up regularly and keeping lots of free space available. A very occasional run on OnyX wouldn't hurt either.
