Virex eUpdate

I'm a newbie to mac. I'm trying to do an eUpdate for Virex, but it says it can't access the server. The server I set was the default server, but I had problems accessing secure sites with Safari, so although I didn't know if it would do anything at all, I set the default browser to Firefox. Can't figure out this thing.

If you're running OSX Tiger and Virex 7.3 or higher, eUpdate won't work since it's incompatable with the OS. Virex 7.2 will work with Tiger, though and the eupdates work.

I'm using 7.2. And yes everyone is separated by me.
