Your Mac's Specs
2.8 INtel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB, 24" screen
This came up running Disk Utility repair--I understand Disk Warrior might correct this problem but can't I also just erase the HD and reinstall my OS and Leopard? I realize I'll lose all my unbacked-up data but at this point I don't care.

Or is the problem that the HD is failing? It's a three year old iMac.
