apple macbook suddenly started not working for no reason. When switching on the apple logo on a pale grey screen appears. You have to use forced switch off to shut down. The spiral wheel just keeps going round and and round and the mac just gets hotter and hotter. It is only just over 1 year old.
I have tried switching on and immediately press shift, cmd, v to do safe
reboot. The reboot scale comes up and 3rd way through bombs out. Any suggestions

Try booting from the gray disk #1 that came with your computer (hold down the "c" key to force the computer to boot from the DVD).

If this works...then the OS on your computers hard drive could be "messed up"...or your hard drive could be dead or dying.
