I have a workgroup accessing a large XSAN and Sharing files. It is quite common that users wish to post a copy of a file in a different folder for other users to access. Because it is a single volume, dragging files between locations results in a "Move".
Of course by holding the Option key while dragging will create a Copy but that leaves the choice up to the User, and mistakes are made.
I am looking for the best way to assign a local Folder a Property that will force a Copy to any file dropped on it.
