Most beautiful Mac ever?

What do you think is the most visually appealing Apple model ever built?

For me, the choice is clear and compelling: It is the Ruby iMac G3, introduced in 2000. I bought one that year. I still have it, it's still working (Tiger), and it's still just as appealing as ever.

Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I'd love to hear what other folks think is the most visually appealing Mac ever built.

I'm not taking about functionality at all here. Just visual appeal. For example, I think the Jaguar XK-E is the most beautiful car ever built. Not necessarily practical, true, but it is beautiful.

So. What's your choice for the most visually appealing Mac ever built?

I don't know what it says about me, but I actually have a tie for most visually appealing.

1) 2010 Mac Pro
2) 2011 11in MBA

In more recent times I really like the looks of the iMac G5 and early Intel models of the same machine.

I love the Cube and the 20th Anniversary Mac that Nick posted. There are others but those stand out for me.

I also like the Power Mac G5 and Mac Pro. Some call it a cheese grater, but I feel it's very nice looking.

My vote is for the iMac G4. I was truly disappointed when it was discontinued and replaced with what basically looks like a big monitor.

Laptop-wise, I like the simplicity and diminutive size of the current 11" MacBook Air, even if it lacks the unique design of the clamshell iBook (another one of my favorites).

I remember the clamshell laptops. My friend had a blue one. Whenever I went over his house I would claim it mine until further notice.

But as for the most appealing, probably the late 2011 MacBook Pro's, only because it was my first Macbook purchase ever :p
