23" apple screen problem

turning the screen on there is a pink cast around all the edges of the screen.
anyone help
23" apple screen with a apple G5 this is the first time I have used the screen.
any help would be good thanks

Is this an Apple 23" Cinema Display you're referring to? If it is, check the multiple connector cable. It could be defective or the connector pins bent. Otherwise, it may be the display itself that's defective.
