Build a blu-ray server

Hi! I would like to build/run a computer that will manage the playback of 5 blu-ray players/external blu-rays one after the other and play a screen of movie trailers on two different displays. Playbacks need to be managed in a system similar to windows media player. I would like to do this with a mac mini or an older mac somehow. This is the only function the computer would serve. Any advice on processors, OS, and hardware?
