MacBook Pro -with 8GB memory capability?
Hello,
I currently have a MacBook Pro, with 4Gb of ram memory installed.
I'm pretty new to the "World of Apple/Mac", therefore, I'm not 100% sure of the total description of my laptop's specs and upgrade specs? -
(I bought it used / but it is new to me.)
The specs from the 'advertisement' when I purchased it read as follows:
For Sale 15in Macbook Pro late 2007 version.
Very Good Condition always well looked after.
New Fastmac Battery (battery life is about 3 hours)
2.4GHz Intel Core Duo Processor
4GB RAM
160GB hard drive
Sorry no box, discs. Just laptop and power cord as is.
Here are the specs on the this MBP
MacBook Pro (Late 2007, 2.4/2.2GHz) - Technical Specifications
So, MY original question (yes I am finally getting to asking it):
What is the model of the MacBook Pro - that was first capable of supporting and using all 8GB of its ram memory?
I ultimately, would really like a laptop, that supports and accepts 8GB (or more of memory)?
Thanks for everyones help, comments, and suggestions / answers,
Have a nice day / evening,
Ed
