Came across the by accident after receiving an email about a recent download.

I've contacted ExpressLane and submitted a query but I still have some downloads that keep trying even though I delete them.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Change your password now. iTunes accounts are a popular vector for hackers using brute force password crackers. Make sure it has a change of case, numbers, special characters (like !@#$%^) and is not an English word.

What I like to do is take a phrase and substitute some of the letters to avoid dictionary words. So, for example:

GiveMeABreak!

...becomes...

G!v3M3@BrE@|<!

Which is fairly easy to remember, but extremely difficult to crack.

As for the existing downloads:

You can go into iTunes Preferences - Store - uncheck everything on that tab.
After you've deleted them, they won't show up again unless you use the Check for downloads from Store on the menu bar.

Cheers guys, first thing I did was change my account using a mixture of alphanumeric/lower-uppercase characters.

It's not existing downloads, it's ones that I keep deleting in the download area. Should I simply allow them to download and then delete, making sure my iphone isn't connected?

Also, in the download section is says number of downloads available but you cannot view to delete first.

Because of all the hacking I hear going on in iTunes. We don't have a credit card associated with our iTunes account. We just do the prepaid cards. We do the same with our Playstation account.

I'm not going to associate another card for the fear of outstanding un-authorised purchases being charged to me.

The problem with these things is if they want to have everything automated online, they need to supply support to everyone 24x7
