missing folder

Hi i recently moved a folder from the documents and tried to put on the main screen but the icon turned into a puff of smoke and now i cant find the folder any where, its all my images to help me please!!!

Your images are OK. If the folder disappeared in a puff of smoke that meant it was an alias not the real folder. What was the name of the folder? Use your Spotlight search feature to find it. (small magnifying glass to the right of the top menu bar)
