I have been to the Apple workshop for iCloud, and still I can't get photo stream to work on my MBP.
I have all the devices turned on in SETTINGS.
I took some pics this morning but they are only on my camera roll ????
I get on iPhoto and select the Preferences and can't find anything close to turning on/activating Photo stream ???
How can I get this thing to work ? Any help would be appreciated.
All other iCloud functions are normal.
Thx :Grimmace:

Are you running Lion on your MBP? On your iPhone - Did you go to Settings>iCloud> and make sure Photo Stream is on? You can also check at Settings>Photos.

Lastly - and take this with the absolute tiniest grain of salt - but when I first activated PhotoStream - I didn't immediately see them go from my CameraRoll to the Stream - but when I went to Camera Roll - clicked the actions icon in the top right corner - clicked copy - for some reason it showed up. I did this a few times - because it 'seemed' to correlate to the image materializing in photo stream - but it might have been just coincidental. It happens automatically now.

Photo stream

Thx for the quick response, I am running LION and all my settings are ON
I just stumbled across some info that solved my problem. In order for us to use the new photo stream one has to be using iPhoto 9.2 (2011)
I'm still using 8.12 (09)
This photo stream will only work with the updated iphoto program. Would be nice if they told us about that up front.
Anyway, thanks for the reply, maybe someone else will benefit.

Are you running iPhoto 9.2?

If so, enable Photostream is under iPhoto preferences. If you are running an earlier version you won't have Photostream.

EDIT: I see you found the answer while I was typing . . . I need to learn to type faster. ;)

I am in same boat but no solution. Sometimes it works most times not. Very inconsistent. I do wait awhile thinking it has to upload but recently nothing happends after leaving it for an hour or 2. I have all settings on. Running Iphoto 9.2.2, OS Lion . have turned off PS (deleted all photos) and then turned back on and only older photos re loaded. Very frustrating. Have toggled camera roll. Nothing.
