Hello everyone,

I am excited to be a new member of the forum and make my first post. Here is my problem:

I recently attempted an install of OSX Snow Leopard onto my MBP running Leopard. The install stopped with an error, however it left tons of temporary and other files on my computer that it did not clean up, filling my HD to capacity. I cannot figure out how to locate and go about deleting these files that are taking up I believe to be around 20GB of my HD space.

Does anyone know how to proceed? I appreciate all suggestions.

Thanks!

Best way is to start over but this time do a clean install of Snow Leopard. That means erasing the hard drive, format it, and install Snow Leopard. Trying to sort out what should be removed that Snow Leopard left behind may cause problems. Make sure you backup your data first.
