After installing Lion, my Time Machine disk didn't work any more.... diagnostics reported that "keys were our of order" and that it needed reformatting. After the reformat, dates showing in the Time Machine side bar on the right side of the screen are all in April of this year(2011) instead of the present date . October 26 is reported as April 26. etc. Rather irritating.

Also, Apple mail program occasionally reports all recent emails as having been received in April instead of the current month. After a day or so, they "magically" return to the proper dates.

Anybody else seen this problem?

Thanks, PRS

Did you open System Preferences, Date & Time, to make sure that your current date, time zone, and so forth, were set correctly? They should not have been reset by the update to Lion, but it's possible they were.

Yes the date and time settings are correct. They were fine after the Lion upgrade.
