How do you delete photos in Photo Stream?

Even though I already deleted the pictures in my iPhone 4S's camera roll, the same photos still remained in Photo Stream in both my iPhone and iPad. So I switched off Photo Stream in both devices and, as prompted, deleted the photos in Photo Stream in both devices. Then I even deleted my iCloud account. After a few minutes, I reactivated my iCloud account and opened Photo Stream. The same pictures came back. There is no "Delete" icon in Photo Stream.

Anyone know how to permanently remove photos from Photo Stream?

Photos are in the cloud.


Log in to iCloud > click your user name (top right) in new box click advanced and just follow the prompt's.
