Hi. I recently bought a Hauppauge HD PVR to record my gameplay and planned on using it with my Mac and EyeTV.

I bought EyeTV DDT. So when I have all audio and video cables plugged in to the TV,PVR and console, I then go to plug in the USB while I have eye TV open. And I plug the USB in, the TV screen goes black and displays the "No signal" error 3 seconds later!

It is really annoying as I can have the USB plugged in but as Soon as I start up Eye TV it goes blank. I would love this to be answered and really need help, all is appreciated, thanks.

Newer build of EyeTV probably fixes this

Hi Irishguy,

I think the problem is that your recently-purchased HD PVR came with firmware that was too new for EyeTV 3.5.3 to support. However, we've silently updated EyeTV to build 6756 to support HD PVR firmware 1.23, and to fix a problem with stuttering playback on 10.7.

Here are the download links:

eyetv://checkforupdates?build=6756

Hope this helps,

Adam

That is what I would call top notch product support! :)

BTW I don't own either of these products.
