2011 15inch mac pro, 2.0 quad care, 8 gigs ram, 750 hard drive
is there any program i should have on my 2011 mac pro to protect it from viruses. ive noticed it runs slow sometimes. thoughts?

There are no Mac viruses in the wild, therefore, a virus scanner is really not needed. However, if using one makes you feel safe, download and install the free ClamXav AV program for the Mac. It's free and does not interfere with the system.
