iPAD Bookshelf

Getting ready to buy the wife an iPAD for Christmas and want to load up some e-books. While the Bookshelf looks nice and tidy with the one free book, how many books can it hold?

I mean the physical little book icons that sit on the shelves. Sorry for the confusion.

OK, I think I'm starting to get it. I buy our e-books via my iMAC (for long term storage) and transfer just what I need for traveling to the iPAD.

Is that about right?

Yeah, okay, I'm one hour into this iPad2 thing - started out a suqillions years ago with a Mac 512KE and had a small hand in System 7 and NeXT Step - but "only took up 100Mb". I mean "only"! Jeez Louise, 100 seems lots!
