All,

Just upgraded from 10.5 to 10.6.8, and I'm trying to find the upgrade to 10.6.9, but having a tough time.

(I've tried to upgrade as normal through "Check Updates," but nothing's coming up.)

I'm looking to get iCloud (since I just upgraded my iPhone to iOS 5, which now has that capability).

Anyone know where to find 10.6.9? Not yet looking to upgrade to Lion just yet.

Thanks

10.6.9 Does not exist. Why do you think it does?

iCloud requires Lion 10.7

As mentioned...OS 10.6.9 does not exist. That's why you're having a tough time!;)

And, what you were looking for is an upDATE that does not exist.

For example
Upgrade: 10.6.x to 10.7.x
Update: 10.6.x to 10.6.x+1

Okay. I created an account just so I can respond to all this. I think I have the same question this poor gentleman had. I am currently running Mac OS X 10.6.8. I have an 3rd Gen iPod Touch. I was on vaca for a week, and came back to find all sorts of updates, including iCloud. I was intrigued. I signed up. In trying to get it all to work, I found my OS wasn't updated enough. I, too, tried Apple > Software Update. Ding!! Everything's updated! Hmm... I came across a site which, to me validates both my and dgreber's question about 10.6.9.

There are but two of several sites I found that made mention of a 10.6.9 version. Speaking for myself, I know enough about Mac to use them productively. I don't, however, know enough about version numbers to know at which times they jump to whole numbers or.. WHATEVER. So.. please.. happy holidays... love you all.. LOL.. but I felt like I had to sign in and back the poor guy up.

The point is that as of right now, OS X 10.6.9 does not exist and that was what he was told - regardless of what is in the rumor mill.

It's a rumor. It might show down the road but does NOT exist right now. If it did I would have it trust me.
