well i got my mac pro today, everything was fine until i decided to switch usb ports for my wired keyboard. now my mac doesnt recognize my keyboard. i cant type my password in to get into anything. how do i get my macpro to see my wired keyboard ?

Just a guess, but I would try powering it down then back up again with the keyboard attached.

ended up using another keyboard. problem is that i unplugged it during a keyboard update.
