I have an iMac running windows on a bootcamp partition and want to clone the whole drive so i can copy it to another machine to save the agro of reinstalling everything.

I have a spare 1tb hard drive and also a 2tb time machine if either of those help ?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

OS X cloning software is not designed to copy the Boot Camp partition which can be either FAT-32 or NTFS depending on which version of Windows is installed. You'll have to use two separate programs to do the cloning.

For OS X there is SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner.

For Windows you can use WinClone. Note, however, that WinClone does not work well with FAT-32 but does work OK with NTFS.
