Imac pixel problem

Hi everyone I bought a Imac 27 3.2 with Mac OS X 10.6.8 in March this year 2011. Started to notice when i switch it on the screen flashes on various positions with dark triangles and squares for about 1 to 2 minutes. Anyone know is this normal or should i take it back to the Apple shop! thanks

Unless you're running an application that purposely generates "triangles & squares" for 1-2 minutes...I would say taking it back to the "Apple Shop" would be a great idea...especially since you still have Applecare.:)

Even if you don't have Applecare, it's still under warrenty. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your nearest Apple Store. Used them a few times and they are excellent.
