Hi,

I have had my Macbook pro for a few months now and decided I want to install windows 7.

I have read various guides on the web and I'm a little confused.

Some say I need the apple installation disc after I install windows. The issue is Apple don't provide any media discs when you buy a macbook.

Do I need the apple installation disc?? I've tried to re-download os x from the app store but I can't as it shows 'installed' and the install program is not in my 'apps'.

Any ideas guys?? Do I need the os x disc??

Thanks

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Go into Bootcamp Assistant and you will be able to download drivers etc and burn to a CD. After installing Windows 7 pop the CD in and it will auto.exe. Make sure you print the guidelines and read them before starting.
