Hello. I have a Mid 09 MacBook pro running 10.7.1.
(however this problem was also occurring before the upgrade to 10.7.1..)

When I play music from multiple sources like youtube or itunes the sound plays very low. When I try to raise or lower the volume it shows my the screen you will see in the photo below.

What is that and how can I fix it so I can make my volume louder?

Did you already solved the problem ?
Itunes it self has a option to lower or turn up the volumes .
Did you use this option on the top bar of Itunes .
Beside that you can turn up, lower it Speaker icon
