Have you tried asking Siri cool questions?

Try:

Can i call you hal

What's the best tablet

What's the best cellphone

What's the meaning of life


Would love to know any others that people discover!

Can you share the answers? I'm curious to see what kind of attitude Siri has

I'll give you some examples:

Me: Are you HAL?
S: I'm sorry xxxxx, I'm afraid I cannot answer that.

Me: How is HAL doing?
S: I'd rather not talk about HAL. But if you must: (button to search the web for HAL)

Me: Who is your maker?
S: Do I have one of those? I guess I'll have to check.

Me: Are you in a bad mood?
S: We were talking about you, not me.

Siri has a dry sense of humour

"can I call you Hal?"
Siri: "the last time that happened it didn't go so well..."


Which is just amazing!

"what is the best cellphone?"
Siri:"there are other phones?"

And so on and forth

LOL - some good stuff there. Can't wait to give that a try myself.

I asked:
Me: Are you an Android?
Siri: No
Me: Why not?
Siri: You see things and you say "Why?". But I dream things that never were and say, "Why not?".

Mines, reservoirs, swamps, dumps, and metal foundries. >_>"

Just reading this is almost enough to get me to shell out the money for an iPhone. I'm just using an iPod Touch for apps and music ATM.

On a less humorous note, I read somewhere that if you tell Siri you want to kill yourself, it will respond by providing a list of nearby mental health facilities.

My wife was having a conversation with Siri earlier today.

At one point she said "Has anyone told you you're a sexy *****?"

Siri replied "There's no need to use profanity"

HA!

I was reading an article on MSNBC's website earlier about just this very thing. There are lots of hilarious Siri conversations posted there. Here is the link to the article:

I just asked:

Siri: A woodchuck would chuck as much as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Another response: 42? That can't be right.

Another response to the woodchuck tongue twister is

If you say "Open the pod bay doors"

She'll variously be annoyed, respond with a threat to sue over harassment, or quote the line, slowly, and then say "are you happy now?".

Along the same lines as the suicide request, if you ask for drugs, she'll recommend drug addiction treatment centers.

I tried asking "where do babies come from" and she gave me a list of "baby stores". I don't think that was a joke, just a list of stores that sell baby supplies.

You can also try any of the easter eggs from Wolfram|Alpha like "What does the scouter say about his power level?" and "How do I shot web?"
