iPad 1 touch gestures?

I may have got the wrong of the stick, but I thought that with iOS 5 the iPad 1 would have multi-touch gesturing? I've scouted all over but can't find it anywhere.

I may have misread and it's only for the iPad 2, so apologies if it is, but anyone know if this is possible?

Yes.

All you need to do is turn it on in the settings... I guess Apple felt the some people wouldn't want it, so gave us the choice.
