Righ now iam running Firefox on 10.1, and the only problem i have is that a bunch of web sites want plugin's to run. It seems that Firefox or Mac wont support them. For example, i wanted to play poker at Pokerroom.com and it asked me to DL Java. I did, and still no go. Same for Yahoo games..

So is this a problem with Mac of my browser?

Thanks for your help.

It very well could be OSX 10.1 as that is very old. Most of the new applications out there want 10.2.8 or higher. I would try to find out but the oldest I have here is 10.2.8. You might give Opera for OSX a try. It just might support the older OSX. It can not hurt to try. A lot has changed since 10.1 of OSX.

Edit: I just checked, Opera has a version for 10.1. Do not get the latest version. Firefox claims to run fine in 10.1 so do not know what is up. Maybe the version of Java does not like 10.1.

The problem probly is your OS version..

I run pokerroom.com on my Tiger PB (with firefox), with no issues.

The Java dl might just need a newer versoin of OSX

Camino works on PokerRoom.com. That is what I use. Never had any problems however, I am running Tiger 10.4.2. Give Camino a try. If it does not work I would assume you are having an OS problem and not a browser problem.

If you decide to try it, make sure you get an older version of Camino and not 1.0a1. Also, I don't know if this is still true, but there used to be a special file required to run it on 10.1.5, so be sure to check on that if you have problems.
