I'll spare you the details, but my mid-2009 MBP 13" screen is broken. Any idea how much it'll cost for Apple to replace it?

Thanks in advance,

A lot for apple to replace it, but I got a replacement 13" screen for my MacBook for about £70.

It was a bit daunting to replace, and seemed broken when it first booted up, but is fine now. iFixit to step by step guides about how to replace such screens. As long as you are methodical about storing the screws in the right order, its a 2 hour job to replace.

Thanks, louishen. I called my local Mac Resource store, and they told me $399 to replace. I'll probably let them do it.

The dang thing wouldn't be broken if my 5 year old hadn't decided to pretend it was a surfboard. My mistake for letting him get near it. Won't happen again.
