I have read the MacBook model I'm getting (early '08) can support (and use) 6GBs of Ram despite Apple stating it will only recognise up to 4GBs.

My question is; if I'm running windows 7 64bit via bootcamp install, will Windows recognise and use more?

Ie; if I install 2×4GB, Can I utilise 6GBs on the Mac side and the full 8 when I boot to Windows?

If it's running bootcamp then its running windows natively and your mac is just a PC

So Windows 64 bit will be able to see and use all the RAM you have installed
