Hi

A mere detail perhaps, but you would have thought the new iPhone 4s would just to differentiate have said somewhere on it, that it was an S?

is that so when you are using it out in public it can be recognised as your using the new 4s and not the old 4 !

Rolls eyes.

The apple logo on the back is all you need to show your using a quality device.

I actually have no problem with your thought on a different logo, it just amuses me to think you could always wear a shield on your chest with an 'S' on it.

And no, I am not jealous of your new 4s, not at all . . . may be a bit. Okay, buddy send it to me and no one needs to get hurt! :Mischievous:

Just kidding, I want one very bad right now but am forcing myself to wait.

4s

Who cares who sees what in public use.

If you bought a 3G it says 3G
If you bought a 3GS it says 3GS
If you bought a 4 it's called a 4

If you bought a 4s it should be called a 4S

Makes sense to me.

Regards

Just have Siri at full volume all the time - and people will know. :)

Just talk to your iPhone all the time. People in the know will think you're on a 4S, everyone else will get out of your way. Win-win scenario in my opinion....

None of them say what model they are. I just looked at the old 3Gs & 4 that are sitting on my desk waiting to be sold and neither say the model on them.

It's been a year now, but I don't remember my 3GS saying 3GS anywhere on the phone...

You are wrong the model number on the back of the 4 is A1332 whereas on the back on the 4S it is A1387.

You could always show this to people if you want to distinguish them.

I'm voting this as the best possible solution. Then not only have you proven your point, but you've also been able to distinguish yourself as a true connoisseur... (BTW, I sure do hope that I spelled connoisseur right, or the trolls will nab me ;))

You did. Blah French words and their weird spell. :Shouting:

Well then I'm glad that I have a clear back plate then so I can show this off easily. :p

Ya know.. I haven't looked but, it is possible that because of the new antenna system, that the antenna notches would be different. I'll check tomorrow unless someone here has both and can check.
