Onkyo UPA-1 not working with iPhone4 4.3.5 firmware

I have a new iPhone 4 and updated it to the latest firmware version (4.3.5). I had not tested it before the upgrade so I don't know if it was working with 4.3.3, but two iPhones 4 of my friends are working with the cradle. Has anybody encountered this problem and found a solution?
