Heating - quick question

Hi,

when using my macbook I noticed it gets hot mostly on one side, as opposed to the whole bottom, is this normal?

My old Dell used to heat up all over on the underside.

Way... way too many specs to list.
Yep, it's normal. The logic board isn't centered in the chassis.. and well, the CPU and the GPU are going to be providing the heat. It's centered on the side where your cd/cvd slot isn't .. I'm guessing.
