Today I went to CompUSA and bought a webcam. It said PC on it but i thought nothing of it because most PC peripherals work just fine on the mac. I brought it home plugged it in and fired up iChat (i am using iChat USB cam) so it being usb is not the problem. In the settings it says that there is no camera attatched but it sees the microphone on the camera. Is there a bit of soft ware out there that will let me use a windows only webcam with my mac?

P.S i will not be able to take the camera back for a while so that is why I am looking for a fix.

You could give iChatUSBCam a shot, if you want to use it with iChat; however, it's a trial, and it costs $9.95.

Does the site list the webcams, which it supports? Maybe if app does support your webcam, maybe it only supports previous versions of drivers.
