I'm getting it now also.
Don't need the cloud, but I like to be up to date : )
I only have one device. My MBP.
I'm about 6 months from getting a smart phone - most likely an iPhone.

Downloaded in 17 minutes and all is well. Now to find some way to remove iCloud from System preferences as it is not wanted. Back to the MobileMe days!

Or... not.

I got that as well.

The Lion update went well, but I have tried a number of times to move from MobileMe to iCloud - always with this result.

Too busy or US only again?

(I am in UK)

took less than the 2 hours it said it would to dl 10.7.2... maybe 45-1hr..had the iOS5 dl'ed from earlier.. once i updated it gave me the need to restore then update thing, but it got dropped on the restore end a few times.. i had to restore my iPhone about 5 times before it worked..
weird thing..
i had some custom folder names in 4.x.yyy or w/e.. and those came through with iOS5.. only 1 dl'ed app did, Skype, and none of my other apps i have dl'ed over time did.. i just have to re sync i guess.
all n all, pretty seamless
