Hey, I just recently opened finder and to my surprise, the labels were all screwed up! I was wondering if anyone could help resolve this issue. The labels present are things like 'SD5' or 'SD8' on my Finder sidebar. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Any one got any ideas as i have the same problem, tried deleting finders plist, but to no avail.
Made new user with admin rights and bingo all the correct labels are there.
Log back in as the old user and SD8 SD5 SD7 are showing in the side bar.

HELP!!:)

Move your files over to the newly created account and use that one.
Or, you could spin your wheels for months trying to find out exactly what is causing the problem in the original account, and if there's a way to fix it.
Your choice.

It's your com.apple.SystemUIServer.plist file.

Move it to your desk top, restart, put it back, job done.
