Do you have a valid Apple ID and are you logging in correctly when asked for the ID upon trying to download?

Yes, I also tried to call apple and they didn't know what to tell me... they told me to send an email to the support of the apple store... i DID.

I already used my Apple ID in my iPhone and a different Mac. I can't think of a reason why if doesn't let me download. I also did all the software updates for my mini mac...

If you have already contacted Apple customer service and sent an email to the App store, all you can do now is wait for them to answer. Perhaps they need to reset your ID?

There is a simple fix to this problem. right click on the finder icon in the dock. click go to folder. and type this in the adress box "~/Library/Cookies/com.apple.appstore.plist" without the quotations. Move the com.apple.appstore.plist in the trash and empty it (you may need to enter your computer password). start the app store again and try downloading
